Isabelle Monahan is an Associate Attorney at Sweeney Mason LLP, specializing in trusts and estates as well as corporate law. She assists the firm’s clients in trust and estate formation, including the creation of revocable and irrevocable trusts. She also assists clients with entity formation, contract negotiation, acquisitions, capital raising transactions and general corporate matters.

Isabelle earned her J.D./M.B.A. from Santa Clara University, where she was awarded the prestigious James A. Emery, S.J. Merit Scholarship. Before pursuing her legal career, Isabelle attended the University of Virginia, where she obtained a bachelor’s degree in English Literature.

During her time at Santa Clara School of Law, Isabelle showcased her dedication and versatility. She held the role of Vice President of the Real Estate Law Society, provided valuable guidance to start-up clients through the Entrepreneur Law Clinic, and contributed to the Journal of International Law. To expand her practical experience, Isabelle undertook internships in trusts and estates, family law, and the Atticus Project, an initiative focused on integrating AI into the legal field.

Isabelle was raised in Los Gatos and currently lives in San Jose. She enjoys spending time with her family and hiking the local trails.
