Wendy Krog is Senior Counsel with Sweeney Mason LLP.  Her practice is focused primarily on trusts and estate litigation, including but not limited to: Will and trust contests, Trustee removal and surcharge actions, Contested conservatorships, Complex accounting disputes, Financial elder abuse actions, Judicial construction and modification of trusts, and Related civil claims.

Wendy has over 16 years’ experience practicing in state courts around all of California, as well as all California federal courts. She has successfully mediated, litigated, and/or tried hundreds of cases throughout her career. For the past ten years, Wendy has specialized in trusts and estate litigation, and she has been recognized in the Best Lawyers of America© publication, including the 2024 edition, in her capacity as a trusts and estate litigator.

Wendy received her J.D. from the University of Colorado Boulder* in 2008 after graduating from the Metropolitan State University Denver with a B.A. in psychology. While in law school, Wendy was an associate editor of the law review and was named Law Student of the Year in 2007 relative to her criminal clinic work.

Prior to joining Sweeney Mason LLP in 2024, Wendy was special counsel with Sheppard, Mullin, Richter & Hampton where she was part of an elite team of California fiduciary
litigators.

When she is not aggressively advocating for her clients, Wendy likes to relax and recover in Santa Cruz, her home since 2013.

*Wendy is also licensed to practice in Colorado.
